MALAYSIA--JOHOR BAHARU, Nov 27 (Bernama) -- A Pakistani man was found dead with slash
wounds at the Kelan Plantation in Kulaijaya, near here, today.
Kulaijaya police chief Supt Zulkefly Yahya said the body of Muzamil Shah, in
his 30''s, was found by members of the public before the discovery was reported
to the police at about 10am.
"Our investigation and forensic teams who went to the scene found the victim
in a lying position and his body covered with blood," he said.
The spot where the body was found is about five kilometres away from the
main road and three kilometres from the plantation workers'' quarters.
Zulkefly said the police investigation found slash wounds on the victim''s
head, face and hands while his wallet and other personal items were found in a
motorcycle basket at the scene.
He said the motive of the killing was being investigated and police believed
it was not robbery as his wallet and personal belongings were not taken.
He appealed to individuals with information on the incident to contact the
nearest police station to fascilitate the investigation.
