While talking to a delegation of businessmen here Tuesday, Pervez Malik said that a bigger difference between Pakistan and other countries was that they are facing economic difficulties was that they suffering due to lack of resources or geographical location while Pakistan was in deep trouble because of the unfavorable and dictatorial regime-pursued policies of the PPP government. He said that PML-N leader Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif has given 10-point agenda to the PPP regime for resolving the social and economic issues of the country but government has not taken the concrete steps yet. Pervez Malik said that to get rid of the economic troubles agriculture sector, manufacturing sector, education, water, human resources, minerals, public health, tax collection system and end of corruption should be focused. He said that the agriculture was the largest sector of He said that shortage of water was one of the biggest challenges being faced by the country while PML-N leader said that the education was the most top agenda of the PML-N as it is the major force of development, progress and prosperity. He said that Pakistan was at the 163rd position in terms of literacy rate and one can understand from this that where one needs to invest the most. He said that Pakistan was enriched with the mineral resources worth trillion $ dollars that could, not only easily rid of all economic issues, but could also make the dream of prosperity true. He said that all mineral resources were the property of Pakistani nation but government had allowed foreign companies to loot this treasure. He said that country was also facing the alarming situation as far as the healthcare facilities for public are concerned. He said that only one doctor and one nurse were available for 1250 people in Pervez Malik said that instead of doing something good for the country and people, PPP and its allies splashing fuel on the fire. He made it clear that PML-N would not allow the selfish elements to play with the stakes of Pakistani nation.
