ALTAF HUSSAIN ADMITTED IN A HOSPITAL IN LONDON SINCE LAST WEEK

LONDON: 29^TH AUGUST 2011

Mr Altaf Hussain, the founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM), is under treatment since last week in a local hospital in London. A press statement issued by the MQM says that Mr Hussain fell ill one week ago, and he was taken to a hospital where he is recovering. The Co-ordination Committee appealed to the people to remain united, pray for Mr Hussain, and not to give ears to rumours. The Co-ordination Committee also thanked President Asif Zardari, Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik and other important people for inquiring after the health of Mr Hussain and for sending flowers.
