National Conference on Education of Afghan Refugee Children in Pakistan

UNESCO Pakistan, in collaboration with UNHCR, is organising a national level conference in Islamabad on 29th March 2012 from 1000 hrs to 1700 hrs at Serena Hotel. The topic of the conference is "Education of Afghan Refugee Children in Pakistan." During the conference, stakeholders from the KPK, Baluchistan and Federal government will come together and discuss, with the intentions of, highlighting the future policy perspective for the education of Afghan refugee children living in Pakistan vis-à-vis UNESCO's global mission of Education For All (EFA).
Eminent personalities including the Minister SAFRON, Provincial Minister Secondary Education Baluchistan and UNESCO Regional Director Dr Gwang-Jo Kim would be amongst the speakers on the occasion. It is with this connection that you are being invited to kindly attend and cover the event.
