RTO Islamabad arranges e-filing seminar at Pak Secretariat
The Inland Revenue Wing of the FBR has directed all its field offices to arrange training workshops and seminars to educate the stakeholders about the e-filing system for filing of tax returns. This initiative is being undertaken in view of the upcoming deadlines for filing of tax returns in September and October.
A seminar on e-filing was held in this regard at Pakistan Secretariat Islamabad under the supervision of Regional Tax Office Islamabad on 25th August, 2011. The seminar was arranged by Ms. Seema Majid, Commissioner Inland Revenue on the directions of Ms. Farida Amjad, Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue and was conducted by a team of Inland Revenue Officers with members from PRAL.
During the seminar, it was elaborated that after considerable efforts made by the FBR, the E-filing of returns is now very simple and trouble-free. The participants particularly appreciated the simplified e-filing procedure introduced by the FBR and facilitation efforts of RTO, Islamabad.
The Seminar was attended by the Drawing & Disbursing Officers (DDOs) and Officers of Pak Secretariat. Technical input was given by Mr. Mujahid Naeem, (PRAL Representative) while questions and queries of the participants were answered by the officers of RTO, Islamabad.
