The BBC has asked Nato to investigate the death of one of its journalists in Afghanistan after reports suggested international forces could have been involved.Ahmed Omed Khpulwak, 25, was one of 19 people killed in attacks on Tarin Kot, the provincial capital of Uruzgan province in the south of the country last week. The Taliban were initially blamed for his death, but there have since been claims that Afghan government troops or Nato forces may have been responsible. The BBC, which used the reporter as a stringer for three years, has now made an official request for the Nato-led International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan to carry out an urgent inquiry.Qari Yousef Ahmadi, a Taliban spokesman, said six suicide bombers carried out assaults on the governor's house, police headquarters and a local powerbroker's office in the town, but claimed they did not target Mr Khpulwak and accused pro-government forces of killing the journalist
