Dear Mr. Khattak, Journalist Association's Office Bearers Take Oath Shujaat Hussain Urges FSJA To Create Sportsman Spirit Among Politicians Muhammad Arshad The newly elected office bearers of Federal Sports Journalists' Association (FSJA) on Friday took oath to their respective slots with a resolve of being committed to the objectives of the organization as well as promotion of sports activities in the country. President former ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Q Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain administered the oath from the FSJA members. Former President Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) and Senator Dilawar Abbas, former Davis Cup winner Nasir Munir and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion. Dilawar Abbas was also announced the Patron-In-Chief of FSJA on the occasion. While addressing the oath taking ceremony, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain highlighted role of media in promotion of the sports activities and asked journalists to educate sportsman spirit to the politicians because some political leaders tended to 'foul play' merely for the sake of their interests. Former Prime Minister said that the role of media was very important for the promotion of sports in Chaudhry Shujat said that sportsmen and people linked to the sports could play pivotal important role in bringing peace and healthy sporty environment back to the country. "Pakistani image has always been uplifted by the sportsmen" said by the president PMLQ hoping that day would come when law and order situation in Pakistan would be improved to the level that international sports events could be organized here.
