The UNFPA's "Campaign to End Fistula"

Dear Media Colleagues,

The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) cordially invites you to the pre-launch ceremony of the Regional Fistula Conference scheduled to be held on 2 March 2011 at 1500 hours at the Islamabad Club, Islamabad. The ceremony will start with the press briefing at 1500 hours, followed by the launching of the Conference. Details of the programme are given below for your kind information. It would be highly appreciated if you could kindly join us at the event. Invitation card attached.

1500 – 1600 hours Press briefing (by the UNFPA Representative, DG Health and Dr. Shershah, PNFWH)

1630 – 1640 Introductory remarks by Mr. Rabbi Royan, UNFPA Representative

1640 – 1650 Presentation by Dr. Shershah, PNFWH

1650 – 1830 Performance by Sheema Kermani (Chaloon Gi Men Utha Key Sar"

1830 – 1845 Address by the Chief Guest (H. E. Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting is expected to address the conference)

1845 – 1855 Closing remarks by Ms. Nargis Sethi, Federal Secretary of Ministry of Health
