[Pak-Media] First research oriented media group/Job Opportunities

The LAMHAA GROUP OF MEDIA is looking for technology-savvy journalists to
join our team. The applicants will be expected to work as reporters, news
and sub-editors, cameramen, photographers, producers and software developers
to conceive and produce multimedia features for both news and enterprise
stories, across multiple platforms.
Expertise with Web development tools — especially Adobe Flash, HTML and
Javascript – is required, and experience with video, audio, motion graphics
and photography is a plus. Candidates will be expected to be quick learners
with creative ideas and have the proven ability to work collaboratively. An
enthusiasm for training and educating print and online journalists about
multimedia storytelling is necessary.
The successful candidates will be proven leaders with news, video and web
experience. He or she must have an extensive, accomplished journalism career
in multimedia storytelling (including expertise in still and video
photography), strong communication skills, a collaborative nature and
organizational skills. An understanding of news presentation in multiple
platforms and commitment to storytelling is essential.
The applicants will work with news editors, designers and business personnel
in order to create dynamic, data-driven products such as widgets, data
journalism, sophisticated interactive features, easy-to-use templates for
the larger newsroom, designs for mobile, apps for social media sites and
other new forms of storytelling and distributing journalism.
The applicants will be charged with assigning, managing and ensuring
high-quality content as well as integrating workflows and technologies to
increase the speed of production. The applicants will work closely with
other departments in the newsroom and in business to ensure that projects
align with LAMHAA's editorial and business goals.
Candidates must be deeply attuned to journalism standards and ethics and be
able to quickly adapt to a changing media landscape and lead staff in doing
so. Candidates must encourage new and different thinking to help secure and
advance the LAMHAA as a leader in innovative storytelling. The ideal
candidate is creative, innovative and agile with a passion for the
