ATHLETIC FEDERATION OF
1. Emergent General Council Meeting of the Athletics Federation of Pakistan was convened on 12th March 2011 at 1300 hours in Blue Lagoon Hotel,
2. Members from all the Affiliated Units of the Federation i.e.
3. During the meeting, the resignation of the outgoing President of the Athletics Federation of Pakistan i.e. Lt Gen (R) Safdar Hussain was accepted and Maj Gen (R) Muhammad Akram Sahi has been unanimously elected as the new President of Athletics Federation of Pakistan.
4. Maj Gen (R) Muhammad Akram Sahi had been a National Champion in Long Jump and a renowned athlete who represented Pakistan Athletics Team from 1974 to 1979 including 8th Asian Games at
