In this connection, Today , Thursday, 31 March in Nairobi, the UN Secretary-General and UNAIDS Executive Director Michel Sidibe are officially launching the Secretary-General's report on AIDS, which has been prepared for the High-level Meeting. The report gives a global summary of where we stand in the fight against AIDS, progress towards the agreed targets and challenges that remain. It also sets out recommendations for the way forward and will provide the basis for negotiations that will start in April.
