Doda Bhutto and Akram Khan get positions in ASBC
Karachi: President of Pakistan Boxing Federation (PBF) Mr. Doda Khan Bhutto
has won the election of Asian Boxing Confederation he become the vice
president of ASBC after beating Ravi Raj Thapa from Nepal.
Doda Khan Bhutto also working with International Boxing Association (AIBA)
as a vice chairman of AIBA athlete and youth commission and he have same
post in the ASBC.
ASBC current election was held at Azerbaijan from 8 or 9 April 2011, 30
countries were participated in that election Doda Khan Bhutto got 22 votes
against Ravi Raj who got only 8 votes and Nevia from Sri Lanka was withdrawn
in the favor of Pakistan.
Mohammad Akram Khan who is a Secretary General of Pakistan Boxing Federation
(PBF) also become vice chairman of the referee judge commission of Asian
Boxing confederation, PBF has recommended two more persons for deferent ASBC
commissions and may they will elected soon, they are Chairman of PBF referee
Judge commission Mr. Ali Akbar Shah Qadri and Ex Olympian boxer Syed Abrar
Hussain Shah.
PBF delegate will return from Azerbaijan on the night of 13th April 2:00AM
at Jinnah International Airport Karachi.
