The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) Asia Regional Director Mr. Kenro Oshidari is currently visiting Afghanistan. He will brief the media on his visit and WFP's operation in Afghanistan.

All national and international media are invited to the news conference on Thursday 12 May 2011 in the WFP conference room.

Media must arrive by 12:45 p.m. and must present recognised press accreditation. Those with broadcast or photographic equipment are kindly requested to arrive earlier to allow time to set up.
