Hakim Ali Zardari, a seasoned politician and the father of President Asif Ali Zardari passed away on Tuesday after protracted illness. He was 81. Hakim Ali Zardari breathed his last at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences where he was getting treatment. He was put on a ventilator since mid March. Hakim Ali Zardari (Born in 1930 - Died on May 24, 2011 at the age of 81): was an industrialist and a landlord from Sindh, Pakistan. He belonged to the Baloch(paroch) Family settled in Sindh. He was the father of Current Pakistani President Mr.Asif Ali Zardari, and father in law of late Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto. Hakim Ali Zardari was married to Dr. Zareen Ara Zardari.
Well known as Rais Hakim Ali Khan was a landlord by birth and the head of the Zardari. He had been involved in Pakistani politics since the 1970s and had served as a federal minister twice. Originally a member of the Pakistan People's Party, he later joined the National Democratic Party. He rejoined the Pakistan People's Party in the 1980s and was active in the early 1990s in politics.
Hakim Ali Zardari's Three children are involved in Politics of Pakistan. Asif Ali Zardari, Azra Peechoho and Faryal Talpur.
Death:
Hakim Ali Zardari was admitted to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in March following multiple organ failure. He died in the hospital on the 24th of May, 2011.
