PRESS RELEASE

All Inland Revenue Offices to remain open on 29^th and 30^th June, 2011

FBR has issued instructions to all Inland Revenue Offices to remain open till 9.00 pm and 11.00 pm on Wednesday 29^th June and Thursday 30^th June, 2011, respectively, in order to provide an opportunity to the tax payers to deposit their taxes within the fiscal year. State Bank of Pakistan has already notified that all the branches of National Bank of Pakistan will remain open till 9.00 pm to on the 29^th June to 30^th June, 2011 for tax collection. Likewise, all customs offices have also been directed to remain open till 9.00 pm on 29^th and 30^th June, 2011 to receive duty and taxes and to facilitate taxpayers.
