The writer discusses the real reason why The Economist (August 6th—11th, 2011) has asked the question 'Can Islam co-exist with Democracy?'. This is not a rational question to compare Islam—a religion—with a political or economic theory. In case, needed, Islam can be studied as a part of the comparative studies of religions.
