-Parents appeal to Chief Justice to take suo motu action against education enemy teachers
Islamabad-- The teachers of Margalla College F-7-4 have not
started teaching to students of the college since the present educational year
started. They keep sitting in the staff room but do not work and get
salary for not working. No class is
being held.On Thursday October 13, they called some bad guys in the
college , who work on rent for political parties. They misbehaved with
the young girls and tried to tease them.
The parents have prayed the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice
Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry to take suo motu notice of this ugly
affairs of the non-teaching in Margalla College,
Islamabad and the conspiracies against education .
These teachers claim that they are on strike to demand raise in their
salaries.It is
astonishing that the strike is limited to sitting in the staff room,
not teaching the poor students who come everyday in thousands and in
the afternoon go without a class being held. The teachers enjoy costly
food bought sent by some unknown persons, and drinking tea.
The problem is that after the college was made a model college the
teachers want their salaries increased
.The better way was to teach the students and not waste their future
and place the
demands before relevant authorities. This is a game being written,
guided and staged by some unknown political and pro-Taliban
personalities opposing the Govt to create an unrest in Islamabad
colleges and keep girls uneducated. This year the education of
thousands of students has gone into jeopardy.
If the result of the college is checked it will be among the lowest of
the Islamabad colleges. Yet the teachers having outside backing from
political figures, are obstinate enough not to listen to the Principal
and even abuse her for her insistence for starting education.
Upon these awful, ugly and condemnable dirty tricks of the teachers
and their patrons from political parties, and non-interest by the
inept Govt even at Islamabad the parents have voiced a strong protest
and reaction. In
fact the parents are arranging a protest rally outside the Parliament
House to point out what is going wrong under the own nose of Prime
Minister Yusaf Raza Gilani (who has no time for work) and tell the
Chief Justice of Pakistan, that our future
generation is at stake not only in FATA at the hands of Taliban but in
Islamabad at the hands of Taliban teachers.
The parents plan to continue their movement against the teachers and
and demand their transfer to Federal Board Colleges in Balochistan as
a punishment.
The parents have made an interim body to organise rallies till the
all the teachers from Margalla College are transferred to Balochistan.
