WHY I.S.I CHIEF SHOULD NOT RESIGN ON ACCOUNT OF SEEKING HELP FROM FORIEGN HANDS FOR SACKING ELECTED CIVILIAN PRESIDENT AND THE REGIME? !!!!!!
Yesterday we attended funeral of
martyred Military Cop at Naudero, Larkana. While he was being rested each eye
was shedding tears and slogans of Pakistan Army Zindabad, Pakistan Zindabad
were herd there. They all including his parents, relatives and friends were
found in shock but satisfaction on their faces telling that no matter if
beloved one is gone far away but he has given sacrifices for securing honor and
integrity of their lovely homeland Pakistan. Memorable sentiment and
emotions were seen there. Majority of them would have become jealous for such
martyrdom for noble cause. After final DUA we returned to our village
Banguldero. I started appreciating and acknowledging the role of Pakistan Army
as the second major institution in safeguarding us from external and internal
enemies. I was also mentioning the way this institution contributed in
mitigating the miseries of natural disasters and calamities hit people
throughout Pakistan.
Be it Bala Kot earthy quake, floods in Jacobabad and heavy rains in Badin- they
undoubtedly have proved themselves. .
I was feeling that my friend who have come with me there becoming uneasy over my
acknowledgement. I asked him why don't he is paying attention on my said facts.
Don't you agree my point of view? He then ended his silence by saying that dear
Abbas, we do pay huge cost but these incidents show that we are no more secure
nation! I asked how? He explained that at the expense of education and health
of our people major chunk of our budget each year is spent on our Military
institutions. In return we only urge
ours security only. But what would be said if the institution couldn't save
lives of their companions? He continued, for two and half hour NATO warships
were reported advancing into our territory and remained busy in targeting the
camp. Aerial strikes were also done but our air and ground defense systems
remained unnoticed?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is not first time it has happened on
our soil. Why we forget drone attacks? Why don't we ask about 2nd
May incident when Americans entered our vigilant defense area at Abottabad?
Hundreds of the causalities are happening and may continue after short break!
He disclosed more that ours defense system is incapable of stopping American
insurgency. I interfered, then why our military leadership records protests to
NATO forces, announces blockage supplies and to vacate Shamsi Air Base? This is
just an eye wash for you people, he replied. They couldn't pull out strategic
partnership from so-called alliance. Certainly they have repair broken
relations. We would see more drone attacks and causalities when rations are
return on due course. This is preset arrangement and engagement. .
At the bus stop of our village I opened him more by asking that if this is the
case then why our print and electronic media blaming and setting responsible
over shoulders of an elected civilian government for all that is happening? He
smiled and told that most of the journalists are on parole. There are assigned
to divert the issue to the civilians. Ever they have been seen demoralizing
their group but those who do criticize Mr. Haqanni for concocted memo, couldn't
dare ask their masters by whom the Shamsi Air Base- Pakistani Territory was
given on lease to U.A.E in 1992? At what cost? Which rules did exist when U.A.E
handed it over to U.S.A in 2001? Why
they who are seen untiring unleashing criticisms over elected civilians for
alleged corruption and bad governance then why don't they dare ask about the
crumb defense system? Could they raise voice for resignation of their
leaders? As they do in case of an
elected civilians regime? Impractical, I
replied with argument that when civilians supposedly are trying to control it
in accordance to the given articles of the 1973's constitution they do create
fuss as the institution would have been undermined? If we don't allow run the
institution under the civilians then why the burden of the garbage is being
thrown elected civilian governments?
After that long discussion my companion forwarded me the question to reply fast, " IF allegations on Mr. Haqqani, a civilian may be believed correct then how we can we ignore Manssor Aijaz's fresh allegations on Mr. Ahmed Shujja Pasha , man in uniform, in which he discloses how he attempts seek foreign help to sack democratically elected Civilian President Mr. Asif Ali Zardari!!! Mr. Haqqani has tendered his resignation for impartial and independent inquiry then should we the democratic Pakistanis demand Mr. Pasha to resign? Why should be treated as SACRED COW?"
