8th OASYS INTER-SCHOOL/COLLEGE CRICKET TOURNMENT – 2011
PRESS RELEASE
The Oasys School has announced 8th OASYS Inter School/College Cricket tournament for the promotion of sports, friendship, co-operation and team spirit amongst the students.
The following seven schools' team is participated in 8th OASYS inter School/College Cricket Tournament.
1) Foundation Public School.
2) The Lyceum School.
3) Bayview High School.
4) Cams/Avicenna
5) Southshore School
6) The Oasys School
7) D.A Degree College
The above-mentioned teams are divided into two pools. Top two teams from the pools will qualify for the semi finals. In the opening day of the tournament match was played in between D.A Degree College V/S Foundation Public School at DHA Ground.
D.A Degree College batting first scored 210 for 5 runs in 20 overs. Main contributors were Dilawar Khan scored 108-runs (14x4, 4x6) and Rana Tayyab scored 44-runs, from Foundation Public School side, Omer Iqbal took 02-wickets and took 1 wicket each by Ahmed Jawed,Uzair Farooque and shoaib Akbar. In reply Foundation Public School bundled out in 12.1 overs scored 52 runs. Faraz Khan and Uzair Anis scored 17 runs each. From D.A Degree College side Omer Chawala took 05 wickets and given 06 runs,Shahbaz Ahmed took 2 wickets given 10 runs and dilawar khan took 1 wicket given 14 runs.Man of the match Dilawar Khan. Match Referee was Mr.Majid Rasool, umpire Muhammad Daras and Kamal Merchant, scorer Naumanudinn.
