Society of Technical Analysis comes into being
KARACHI: Keeping the importance of technical analysis in stock market tradings, a group of technical analysts have formed Society of Technical Analysts (STA) and elected its governing body here Wednesday.
The body was elected in the opening ceremony of the STA held in a local hotel in Karachi where its members announced the cabinet.
The list follows here as under:
1- Ovais Ahsan (Pressident)
2- Faran Rizvi (General Secretary)
3- Adnan Muzamil Khan (Vice President)
4- Khalil Usmani (Treasurer)
5- Faheem Raza (Joint Secretary)
6- Jawad Hussain (Executive Member)
Talking on the occasion, Ovais Ahsan, President STA, said that technical Analysis is the basic need of every person trading in the stock exchange.
While highlighting the motives behind the launch of STA, he said that the Society of Technical Analysts will help raise the level of awareness among the stock market participants about theory and practice of technical analysis. This society will set and execute the standard certification and professional ethics for the Technical Analysts, he added.
General Secretary of STA, Syed Faran Rizvi, said on the occasion that fruitful trading is always proportional to technical analysis and one must have thorough knowledge of all the pros and cons of the market indicators before getting into this business.
He revealed that the STA was in process to get registered with the International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA) and after its affiliation the society will launch technical analysis courses in collaboration with the IFTA.
